Stall Board - $350/month (plus tax) Includes a 10 x 12 box stall and daily turnout into small herd pastures or dry lots. All horses have access to run-in shelters while outdoors. Endless supplies of salt and water are available. Horses on stall board may be grained twice daily. Since Snapdragon does not limit the amount of hay we feed, grain is not included with board. Horse owners may supply their own grain and supplements or arrange for stable management to supply it. The cost is then added to the monthly board bill.

Pasture Board - $200/month (plus tax)
All pasture boarded horses are kept in small herd environments. Endless supplies of salt and water are always available. Horses on pasture board may be grained twice daily. Since Snapdragon does not limit the amount of hay we feed, grain is not included with board. Horse owners may supply their own grain and supplements or arrange for stable management to supply it. The cost is then added to the monthly board bill.

Extras

Vet Handling - $15/each unscheduled visit: We will hold your horse for the vet and field appropriate questions. You will receive the summary of the visit later that evening.

Medication or Treatments- $5/application: In the case that your horse is injured and needs ointments applied, or bandages redone daily, we can help. Treatments will be tracked and added to your monthly bill.

Farrier and Vet
Included with all boarding options are the scheduling and holding services for routine farrier work and twice yearly vaccinations. The cost of the services provided will be billed directly to the horse owners from the farrier and veterinarian.

Deworming
Snapdragon uses the Strategic Deworming method for maintaining herd health. A fecal sample for each horse is collected several times a year and tested. Horses are dewormed according to those that need it. Please feel free to inquiry further regarding this alternative method of deworming.
